Magnesium, the "The Forgotton Mineral" - Vital for bone health

Parents has been long emphasize on feeding their children with calcium rich food like milk for optimal bone health. However, magnesium may be just as important according to Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) ! Magnesium has been called as "The forgotten mineral" or 5 cents miracle table by researchers.  Magnesium is necessary in over 325 enzyme system in the body that control thousands of chemical interaction. 

Calcium can not work alone for bone health. It need to work together with Calcium. Without magnesium, the body cannot:

Which of the plate has larger food portion? 

If you hardly control your food intake due to big appetite. Can keep in mind of this illusion method by using smaller plate which may give a feeling of large food portion. 




Subway has nearly same calories as McDonald's

I think this will be a disappointed breaking new for most of the Subway lovers. Subway may promote itself as the "healthy" fast food restaurant, but researchers from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) found that teenagers who bought Subway meals in America consumed nearly as many calories as those who bought a meal from McDonald’s.

However, there are many types of Subway choices, which choice was being selected in the research not being stated.
